Time to explore the land of real estate software reviews.
Custom integration possible, integrates with multiple software
Tracking and paying features
Extremely user-friendly
Brokermint is intuitive and user-friendly. There’s a knowledge base available on their website, should you need guidance.
A major benefit of Brokermint is that it integrates easily with numerous software. Contactually, QuickBooks, Google Drive, Dropbox – you name it, it’s there. It also integrates with other real estate software, such as FollowUp Boss, Propertybase, Inside Real Estate, etc.
The best part? If you contact support, it will develop a custom integration for you. That’s right – if you need to integrate Brokermint with a software that’s not on its list, its developers will make it possible at your request.
Brokermint comes with some vital business features. It offers transaction management, commission tracking, reports & analytics, agent management, and branding.
Brokermint’s tracking and payment features are top-notch. They make Excel calculations seem like a nightmare from the past. And you can forget about calculating commissions by hand. Brokermint has it all covered for you.
Of course, not everything is perfect. Although I didn’t encounter any huge problems with Brokermint and none of the reviews I read pointed out any deal-breakers, the system is still not flawless. Users have mentioned that the report templates are not the best out there and they need to be more customizable. People also wish Brokermint had more graphics-related options and better filtering.
Nonetheless, Brokermint is the winner on our list. It has various plans that come at different costs, so it won’t break the bank. For more information, contact its customer team.
If you need to make sure it’s the right software for you, you can request a free demo. Also, if you have any questions, its support is available via phone, email and live chat.
Various integrations
Easy to navigate
Best transaction management features
Dotloop is very easy to navigate. There’s a Resource center page on their website, which offers step-by-step tutorials, in case you need help.
Dotloop integrates with basically any software under the sun. It works flawlessly with software for:
You can also count on dotloop to work well with Franchise Integrations.
As for features, dotloop offers a wide array to choose from. Its transaction management options are legendary and the best from all the software we’ve tested. It has both an Android and iOS app, so you can create transactions from any device.
Dotloop makes collaboration between teams effortless. It shows detailed activity logs and has robust reporting tools. You don’t need to wonder who does what and when – dotloop gives you all the information you need.
With dotloop, you can edit, share, store, and design your documents. Although it’s not the best document management software out there, it does a great job.
All in all, dotloop saves you time and money. Who wouldn’t want that?
Like everything man-made, dotloop has its flaws, of course. While there weren’t any notable problems during my tests, some users have complained that they have difficulty working with files, different than .pdf. Merging loops have also popped up as problematic, as well as working with multiple signatures.
Dotloop for agents comes at $29 monthly. If you’re a broker or want to use the software for your team, you can get a custom pricing from them directly.
If you have any more questions, dotloop’s site has a whole section with Frequently Asked Questions. In case you can’t find the information there, you can always contact them via email.
High conversion rates
Custom landing pages
Custom design editor
Real Geeks is very user-friendly. You’ll have it up and running in no time. They also have a fascinating blog, full of tips and tricks for your business.
Real Geeks offers seamless integrations with 15 third-party apps, including MailChimp, Zapier, and Gmail.
Real Geeks might just be the best solution out there if you’re looking to create a website. According to its homepage, its goal is to create the highest conversion rate the industry has ever seen. It does deliver on that promise.
The sites, created with the help of Real Geeks, are easy to navigate and they load fast. We all know how impatient users nowadays are. They expect a website to load in under 2 seconds. So being fast and user-friendly is vital.
Real Geeks lets you create custom landing pages. It doesn’t matter if it’s about a property, agent, market report, home valuation or just a Coming Soon landing page – with Real Geeks you can have it all.
Real Geeks also comes with a custom design editor that lets you customize most elements on your website. Finally, you can have a realtor software completely fit for your needs.
Its stellar Lead Manager CRM is another reason why Real Geeks gets the honorable third place in our top real estate software reviews. You get Email & SMS notifications, Social Profiles, Live Feed, Advanced search filtering, and many more features – all in one place.
However heavenly this might look, there are some things I couldn’t just ignore. Real Geeks offers limited SEO options. Also, some users have complained the websites look a bit outdated.
Some reviews have reported that the prices tend to increase during the one year contract. While I encountered only a couple of reviews that point out this problem, it is worth the warning. Some of the features are also paid.
If you’re interested in Real Geeks, there’s a free demo for you to check out on its website. You can also contact them via the website with any questions that come to mind.
One of the cheapest products on the market
User friendly
Integrates seamlessly to third-party software
Using Wise Agent doesn’t require any training beforehand. Their blog offers a lot of articles to help you on your journey.
Wise Agent is one of the best bargains you can find. Its integration options are out of this world. It works seamlessly with Cloud CMA, Zapier, zipForm® Plus, Twitter, and many of Google’s services.
Wise Agent also offers some crucial features. Its contact management and transaction tracking features performed spectacularly during our tests.
The monthly newsletter feature comes in handy as well. Sending great and relevant content to your clients might be the key to keeping them loyal to your service and Wise Agent can help you with that.
You also get Drip Marketing Campaigns, Customizable Landing Pages, Unlimited Document Storage, Social Media Enhancement, and many more features – all dedicated to making your life easier.
As for cons, Wise Agent has no phone app yet. Users have also complained about cluttered appearance. Although not as much of a problem as the lack of a phone app, it can still be annoying. Users have also pointed out updates can sometimes be confusing.
For all that it offers, Wise Agent comes at a modest price of $29 monthly. Stellar performance for a humble price is what I call a real deal.
In case you want to give Wise Agent a try, but you’re not sure if it’s right for you – worry not! There’s a 14-day free trial available for you. You can also contact its support team with your questions – it’s available 24/7.
Pretty and easy to use layout
Sets up automated texts and emails
Keeps all your leads in a streamlined system
Follow Up Boss has hands down the best layout of all the real estate software we tested. It’s really easy to navigate and it’s unlikely that you’ll encounter any difficulties using it.
Follow Up Boss integrates with numerous systems. It works swimmingly with Zapier, Mailchimp, Facebook Lead Ads, Bomb Bomb, Gmail & Google Apps, and many more.
All its features sync perfectly and you never need to worry about the functionality of the software. Contacts, tasks, lead monitoring, action plans, reporting, texting – it all operates in perfect harmony. It syncs perfectly with the mobile app too.
A notable feature of Follow Up Boss is the ability to automate texts and emails. You no longer need to write down or set up reminders for that. Follow Up Boss has your back.
Follow Up Boss also helps you keep up with leads. With this software, you can be sure that every lead reaches the right person.
Users reviews point to Follow Up Boss as the leading real estate CRM in 2022 for teams. You can effortlessly keep up with all your teammates’ work.
I already mentioned that Follow Up Boss has a mobile app that syncs well with its desktop counterpart. Keep in mind, though, that the mobile app can be a bit slow and does crash sometimes. Also, both apps don’t offer automatic import of contacts, which can be annoying.
Follow Up Boss is one of the pricier real estate software. Its Star plan is $49 a month. Its most popular plan – Grow – is at $69 per month.
All of Follow Up Boss’ plans come with a 14-day free trial, so you can choose the ones best fitting your needs. In case you have other questions, you can reach Support by email or via phone.
Easily customizable
Great mobile app
Best customer support
The greatest thing about Propertybase is it’s highly configurable. You can tailor the software according to your individual business needs. Imagine working with software designed specifically for you – Propertybase gives you that and more. This takes “easy to use” to a whole new level.
Propertybase maintains one of the largest integration networks in the whole real estate software world. It works efficiently with Bomb Bomb, dotloop, Cloud CMA, Zillow, Spacio, and many more.
The software also comes with the best mobile app we’ve tested. It is fast and syncs perfectly with its desktop counterpart. Propertybase’s mobile app is available on both Apple’s App Store and Android’s Google Play.
Many of the users say they’ve been delighted with how quick, efficient, and polite the Propertybase’s support team has been. You can contact them via a form on the website or call them directly.
Not everything is top-notch, though. Users have said the graphs don’t always come out clear.
There’s also quite a steep learning curve to it. Compared to how easy it was to navigate through some of the other software, that spoiled my experience a bit.
The price is also worth mentioning – starting at $89 per month, this is the most expensive one on our list.
If you’re interested in giving Propertybase a try, you can use the contact form on its website and ask for a demo + free trial.
Intuitive layout
Works equally well on mobile and desktop
Makes scheduling showings a breeze
ShowingTime has a highly intuitive layout. While some software takes you through a steep learning curve, ShowingTime stands out as one of the easiest to understand.
ShowingTime allows integrations with Surpa, Homesnap, SentriLock, Goomzee and Master Lock. It also makes life easier with its calendar sync and linking accounts options.
ShowingTime is our clear winner when it comes to scheduling showings. It has been praised for its efficiency and it certainly deserves it. The software allows you to schedule tours and chooses the best routes for it. It also lets you schedule home inspections, change appointments and navigate through information smoothly.
Another outstanding thing about ShowingTime is it works equally well on mobile and desktop. As you know, most mobile apps do not give the best performance. The ShowingTime team, however, takes care of that with frequent updates.
Although ShowingTime has made quite a name for itself with its stellar features in scheduling showings, it’s not all perfect in paradise. Users note that the showing restrictions and exceptions options can be hard to customize. So keep that in mind, if you have to work outside the usual hours.
Another complaint that I encountered while reading reviews is that ShowingTime’s tech support is not very friendly. That can be off-putting when you need help.
ShowingTime’s site shows no option for a demo or a free trial. So, if you’re on the fence about investing in this software, you can always contact its support team via phone for more information.
Rich customization options
Compatible with social media platforms
Limiting free version
Chances are you’ve already heard of Zoho. It’s a web-based office suite that offers solutions for numerous types of businesses. You’ve probably seen it in our accounting software reviews. So why am I mentioning it?
Well, Zoho offers a CRM software, designed specifically for real estate. Surprise!
Zoho’s CRM for real estate is extremely easy to use. There’s little training required to get you started and once you get the basics – it’s smooth sailing.
Another great feature of Zoho is that it is compatible with social media platforms. It also integrates with Shopify, MailChimp, Google Suite, Slack, and many more.
Zoho CRM for real estate also has very rich customizable options. It lets you customize basically everything – layouts, subforms, functions, views and filters, translations, and more. With Zoho CRM, you can have a real estate app, tailored to your individual needs.
Zoho CRM for Real Estate comes free to use. However, the free version is somewhat limited. Most power features come with the paid plans.
Users have complained in their reviews that switching between tools is sometimes tricky. It might lead to the software glitching.
The limited support offered is the second most popular complaint. It is only available during the standard weekdays and hours. So, if you encounter any difficulties outside this time frame, your only option is to wait.
I still recommend giving Zoho’s CRM for Real Estate a go. It has a lot to show and offer and it’s worth your time.
Easy to use
Works on any device
Limited integrations
Let me introduce you to an MLX system, built specifically for today’s real estate agents.
Cloud MLX for Real Estate is effortless to use. It requires literally no training, as it has a highly intuitive interface.
The MLX integrates seamlessly with all Cloud Agent Suite products. The MLX offers one-click sharing of listing data and integrated chat for agents.
Its most outstanding feature is the smart search bar. It remembers the searches you’ve saved, the areas you’ve looked through and the properties you’re linking to clients. You can also search by map. It’s a great time-saver.
Another major plus of Cloud MLX for Real Estate is that it works on any device. Laptop, tablet, phone, you name it – you can work from any device you have lying around. This is such a huge relief for agents, as they are always on the go and need to access their data on mobile.
Although it allows integrations with all Cloud Agent suite products, the MLX seems to be limited to just them.
Its support options are also limited. You can either contact them via email or by posting a public question. A phone option or a live chat would’ve been nice.
Most of the time, Cloud MLX runs smoothly. It can, however, be a bit slow at times. While this is not a major inconvenience, it can be annoying.
If you’re interested in Cloud MLX for Real Estate, you can give it a go for free. For any additional information or in case of any questions, you can contact its support.
If I were a real estate agent, I probably would’ve gone mad. I just can’t see how I’ll manage to keep my cool in the midst of all the paperwork, phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Add to that list attracting new clients, creating leads, writing brochures and newsletters, monitoring listings in various areas, and you have the makings of a nice, stress-invoked headache.
If this is the world you live in, maybe it’s time for a change? Forget about Ibuprofen, real estate software is coming to your rescue.
But why should you invest in one?
Well, glad you asked.
Let’s talk about the benefits of good real estate software:
At this point, you’re probably pretty hyped to get your hands on the best apps for real estate agents out there. I know I would be.
But how to choose the most fitting real estate software?
Well.
Allow me to pull the veil and show you how it’s done.
A good decision is an informed decision. And to get the information you need, you have to ask the right questions.
Here’s a list of good questions that can help you navigate the vast sea of real estate software:
Answering those questions will give you a sense of direction. After you’ve done that, you can go through our list. The pros and cons should make navigating easier. They should also point you to the most relevant reviews for your needs.
If you think this is a lot of work, let me tell you a secret. Most people get increased clarity about how to run their business just from answering the questions alone. Doing this work is its own reward.
Add to that the fact you now have the ability to choose a good software to help you along the way – and the productivity boost you’ll be getting becomes nothing short of amazing.
Alright, now go answer those questions.
Have fun!
Getting real estate software will bring instant relief to your daily life. It will bring a much-needed order to your otherwise chaotic activities – can you imagine the relief that can bring you? Each software in those reviews will surely deliver on that promise.
The platforms I’ve selected have numerous benefits. They store and share information for you. They have vital tracking and paying features. They make customer management a breeze. They integrate with numerous other apps and solutions. They also work on most, if not all devices.
At the end of the day, that’s a huge workload you get to automate so you can focus on more important tasks.
Are you ready for such a huge gamechanger?
If you are, you’re in the right place. And at this point, some reviews here have already caught your eye.
You can expect to achieve way more with the same amount of effort once you start using any of these products. I made this list after thorough research, careful testing, and days of reading expert and user reviews.
Fate fortunes the bold. Don’t be afraid to make changes to your life. Remember which software you liked and go check it out!
Let’s start by making a clear distinction between the two types of real estate software. A real estate management software is one that takes care of the back office operations, finance calculations and property-related cases for you. A real estate CRM software is the one that deals with the human factor. It helps maintain the relationship between agents, managers and their clients. To sum up, real estate software is software that makes your life easier.
The short and sweet (and kinda obvious) answer would be “the feature set”. What about if you’re not here for the simple answer?
A good real estate management software should have the following features:
With real estate CRM software, you should be looking for:
Those are the features that make for good and functional software. As you’ll be relying on it a lot, make sure you choose a good one.
Yes, there is.
There is a reason why I didn’t focus on those options for you, though. Although free and undoubtedly a good deal, given that you pay nothing, they usually lack in features. Whether it would be reports, customer support or other vital feature, free software withholds its true potential from its customers… until they pay.
In my reviews, you’ll find some great software that won’t break the bank. They also offer amazing tools for realtors and I can guarantee they won’t let you down.
If you’re on the lookout for a good mobile app particularly, then any one between Propertybase and ShowingTime can be the right solution for you. Both performed marvelously during my tests.
But do keep in mind that it’s not only the mobile app that matters.
Most of the best real estate software I’ve reviewed are indeed very easy to use. There are also trainings, blog posts, How-To’s and customer support available for you if you ever encounter any difficulties.
Don’t be put off by modern technology. It’s here to make your work easier for you.
